Philip LaRocco has over thirty years of international and U.S. development experience. He is the co-founder of E+Co, the leading practitioner of the enterprise-centered model of investing in energy enterprises in developing countries. He retired as E+Co’s Executive Director and CEO on April 30, 2009. At that time an internship program was established in his name by his colleagues. Until 1990 LaRocco served as the Director of World Trade and Economic Development for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey with responsibility for the N.Y. World Trade Center, a network of trade development offices, and a portfolio of development and waste-to-energy projects. He was awarded the Port Authority’s Distinguished Service Medal in 1990.
