Manuel Bueno is a staff writer for NextBillion.net. He is currently an M.Phil candidate in Organization and Strategy at Tilburg University (Netherlands). Previously, he was employed for two years as a consultant in financial services strategy and transactions at the Deloitte office in Madrid. He has also worked at a microfinance institution in India and at Procter & Gamble. In 2005, Manuel received a B.Sc. in Economics from the London School of Economics.

Manuel has always had a keen interest in business models in developing countries. He particularly enjoys helping BoP start-ups and receiving thoughtful comments to his blog. His forthcoming book, co-authored with Profs. Juan Luis Martinez and Maria Carbonell (Instituto de Empresa Business School), about the Latin American Base of the Pyramid will be published in 2010.
