The program, unveiled Monday at the opening session of the Clinton Global Initiative Latin America summit, is hoping to improve conditions in Brazil, where by 2030 activity levels in children could dip 34 percent below 2002 levels. That could lead to shortened lifespans, losses in national productivity and billions in health care costs.
