Root Capital seeks applications for an Investment Officer (IO) for Central America, Mexico and the Caribbean. This IO, together with the Root Capital team, will be responsible for the following activities in the region mentioned above: identify potential investments; analyze them using rigorous financial, environmental, and social criteria; execute them; and monitor them. The Investment Officer will be based in Root Capital’s regional office in San José, Costa Rica and have one or more Spanish-speaking countries in his/her portfolio. Candidates should have experience with banking or with investment funds, possess a technical professional background, and be passionate about supporting the advance of Root Capital’s mission of conserving vulnerable natural resources and promoting equitable social development in rural areas of Latin America.
