In search of a dynamic Chief Project Management Officer with heart.
Heart, a registered Section 21 Company based in Cape Town, is looking for a dynamic Chief Project Management Officer who is passionate about addressing social challenges and wants to make a real difference.

The CPMO oversees heart's portfolio of projects which involves project management, planning and governance related activities. The CPMO ensures that quality, time and resources are managed efficiently and effectively. The CPMO is also expected to:
* Support the Social Entrepreneurs with creating, managing and implementing project plans
* Establishing milestones, key performance indicators and key performance assessments
* Revise project plans in order to meet changing needs and requirements
* Identification and optimisation of dependencies and resources and assist with necessary planning decisions
* Assign individual responsibilities, including the involvement of external specialists from the incubator network.
* Effectively apply the incubation methodology, enforce project standards and review the deliverables
* Ensure project documents are complete, up to date, and stored appropriately.
* Prepare and facilitate reviews and other quality assurance activities
* Control time, resources and budget allocations of the incubator
* Mentor and/or teach social entrepreneurs about project management
Requirements:
* A Master degree in Business Management, Economic Sciences, Engineering, Computer Sciences or any related field.
* Ten years of work experience as a project manager
* At least five working years in a senior management role heading a multi-project department/ team
* Experienced in the development and implementation of strategic plans
* Excellent verbal and written communication in English
* Strong and proven business development background
* Outstanding analytical skills
* Proficient in word and spreadsheet couple with the ability to analyse financial reports and assist in pro forma development.
* Proven effectiveness in planning and implementing projects on a small to mid scale (project budget > R 5 million).
* Excellent understanding of process and project management methods/ tools
