Heart, a registered Section 21 Company based in Cape Town, is looking for a dynamic Chief Business Development Officer who is passionate about addressing social challenges and wants to make a real difference.

The Chief Business Development Officer is responsible for driving the incubation process of multiple projects. The duties of the CBDO include:
* Support /advise social entrepreneurs with all strategic and operational business decisions
* Develop the entrepreneurial skills of the incubated social entrepreneur
* Chair the Incubation Committee and status report meetings, as well as the Risk Management and Change Control boards
* Govern the incubation process
* Assist the social entrepreneurs in developing and managing their social enterprises
Requirements:
* A Master degree in Finance, business management, marketing, Accounting, Economic Sciences, Computer Sciences or any related field.
* Ten years of work experience.
* At least five working years in a senior management role
* Excellent verbal and written communication in English
* Strong and proven business development background
* Outstanding analytical skills
* Proficient in word and spreadsheet expertise with the ability to analyse financial reports and assist in pro forma development
* Experienced in the development and implementation of strategic plans
