hi there! my wizzit card was stolen i am a student at nelson mandela metropolitan university in port elizabeth, i went to our financial aid office to report it and i found this site adn thought that it would assist me in cancelling the card so that i can get a new one please, because the bursary i recieve for my studies pays money in there for transport and to buy my stationary. i am stressed please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kiki, Hi. I read your post after reading about Wizzit technology. I am excited that you want to bring this model to West Africa becuase I truly believe this is the future of banking for the "unbanked". Currently, I am a graduating senior studying finance at Loyola University in New Olreans. I worked for over 4 months in Ghana where I was exposed to the microfinance industry. I plan to make a career within microfinance, however there are extremely limited opportunities in the United States. I would like to be a part of creating a Wizzit type model in West Africa. I cannot get this USSD service to work on this phone.. It opens the first two menu's up succesfully,but thereafter it wont go any further and responds 'failed' Please,any help in this regard would be great, because I have to use this card like any other card...no mobile banking for me. Its a new phone the Samsung i600, so I cant understand why it will not work..because even very old phones can do this> Best wished Kevin ps Your service is gr8!

Arrived in Kinshasa in August, I am appalled by the lack of water available to the majority of the population of the DRC. This exchange of letters on the patent is very interesting, but leaves little hope for anything to happen here for a long time. Would Roundabout be willing to let others market this life-transforming invention under a franchise or other royalty-paying formula that protects its rights?

MSR is simply a wonderful and doable idea. The training program, the "tools" program, and the connection to the community all contribute to the community support this worthwhile program has received. Rather than simply "giving" food or money to the men in your community as a handout (a policy that does not help a person become self-sufficient and productive), the MSR program teaches men the training they need to become more productive members of society. By the way, since I have a "garden decor" website, I noted with great pride that one of the training areas offered is "gardening." Charles Maisel, I tip my hat to you for making a positive difference in the lives of the men (and indirectly, in the lives of the women) in your community.

My mom who is unemployed and does not have much of an education has been introduced to this product. She was told that this is endevour by an overseas company wanting wanting to better the lives of south Africans. What i don't understand is that she was told she is going to receive a monthly income with this account R3000 per month and if she introduces more people the amount will increase to R6000 per months. The package apparently also comes with monthly groceries. This does not sound real and i don't think it would be fair to raise poor people's hopes like that.
