Dear Sir /Madam,

My name is Jairus Ounza Muhehe , a Statistical Data Analyst based in <country-region><place>Uganda</place></country-region>. I am currently engaged in assisting both PhD and Msc candidates to analyze data. I have also undertaken various market researches for investors in <city><place>Kigali</place></city> and <country-region><place>Uganda</place></country-region>. So far I have assisted over 15 PhD candidates in data analysis both in <country-region><place>Kenya</place></country-region> and <country-region><place>Uganda</place></country-region> in Business and Economics related fields among others.

During all these studies I have come to conclude that most investors lack information on the type of investment to undertake and how to go about it. This has negatively impacted on the volume of investments made by locals and multinationals. I am therefore proposing to make this information available to them at a fee. What I have in mind is to identify the most lucrative business ventures in <country-region><place>Uganda</place></country-region>, conduct a market survey, and draw up in an investment plan. Should an investor require a tailor-made investment plan, he will be required to foot the bill and then we can share the proceeds with the Investment authority. So at the end of the day the investment authority incurs no cost. I am in possession of several market surveys I have conducted and will avail them to you on request on condition of confidentiality. Hoping to hear from you soon.

The East African Development Bank is to start financing development programmes in partnership with the private sector. At the bank's governing council meeting held recently in Kampala, proposals to develop a variety of development finance products were unveiled. The East African Community member states have endorsed the bank board's proposal to provide additional capital to strengthen its equity base and fund expanded operations.
