
Position: Assistant Director for Social Entrepreneurship, Berkley Center for Entrepreneurial Studies

Job Description: The selected candidate will work with the Associate Director to create and manage a sustainable, world-class social entrepreneurship program that is recognized for its leadership in research, curriculum and programmatic offerings.
The selected candidate will develop and manage high-impact events and programs that enhance the Center's standing as a social entrepreneurship innovator. S/he will oversee event marketing, publicity, budgets and logistics. S/he will also oversee the Social Entrepreneurship Business Plan competition.
Qualifications: The applicant must possess an entrepreneurial spirit and be able to marshal the necessary resources to expand an exciting world-class center for entrepreneurship, education, and research. S/he must be able to think creatively and strategically, cultivate relationships, and develop and market programs and services. The ideal candidate will have Bachelor’s degree (MBA or Master Degree preferred) and 3 or more years of progressively responsible experience in program development or marketing, preferably with experience in a social entrepreneurship venture. Superior communication, presentation, analytical, and organizational skills are also essential.
