We have projects in several African countries based on an adaption of low cost amorphous silicon plates While it involv es pv solar, we see it more for income creation/empowerment projects rather than for its renewable energy.
NGOs are using this technique in several developing countries to produce simple solar battery chargers/lights/mobile chargers. Above all, it needs imagination in finding its best potential for each situation!

For those interested we send several pdfs including a TV report, as well as leaflets, a CD ROM and a free small sample - the sample, with a tiny pv panel, powers an LED bulb or a small radio.

I need to know the cost of providing solar energy to a small establishment in Accra Ghana that does not have access to electricity. The establishment is a 2 16X12 rooms that are intended to be used as an internet cafe.
