Fast Company on Sustainability, NextBillion

I subscribe to Fast Company, a cutting-edge business mag. Their sustainability section is particularly interesting, as are the Social Capitalist Awards. Check out the 2005 winners for some great models; if you think your organization might qualify in 2006, the application kit can be requested from the FC web site. I'm a FC fan and have been for a couple of years as is, but today they gave their readers a heads up about our NextBillion.net community on their staff blog. Thanks, FC! Check them out here.

It looks like BusinessWeek's Tech Beat took notice also. "Most stuff that is written in blogs is self-indulgent crap, or mean-spirited political spin. Here's a blog worth spending time and effort on."

This is great to see such positive news all around the next about this community! I just read the Kansas City infoZine feature this morning New WRI Blog Launches with Sights on "Next Billion" Consumers, Dollars.. even better than all these press stories are all the small blogs that have mentioned that the are wnjoying all the great content that you all are posting. --eric
