Cindy Chen

Cindy Chen is an independent consultant for social entrepreneurs refining their marketing strategies in emerging economies. She is the Founder and Managing Editor of The Social Marketplace (www.thesocialmarketplace.org), an information hub for organizations selling social goods and services to low-income consumers.

Prior to her work at The Social Marketplace, Cindy worked on business development and consulting for the design, manufacturing, and supply chain of labor intensive goods in developing countries. Cindy holds a Bachelors of Science from MIT in Management Science (Focus: Marketing) and a MBA from the UC Berkeley – Haas School of Business.
