Cheri Voisine
Vital Wave Consulting

Cheri Voisine serves as the Director of Marketing at Vital Wave Consulting, a strategy and marketing intelligence firm specializing in accelerating profitable business growth in emerging markets. She has twelve years combined experience in emerging market business and marketing strategies with a specialty in communication and cross-sector partnership management. At Vital Wave Consulting, Cheri manages the organizations’ marketing strategy and consults on messaging and alliance strategies for developing-country markets.

Prior to joining Vital Wave Consulting, Cheri was the worldwide marketing manager for Intel’s Channel Platforms Solution Group, responsible for generating collateral for new solutions and launching a targeted channel program aimed at high-growth markets. At Intel, Cheri was a key contributor to the company’s strategy for participation in the United Nation’s World Summit on Information Society in Tunisia and drove the global sales training on Intel’s emerging market platform strategy.

Previously, Cheri also managed global partnerships for Hewlett-Packard’s Emerging Market Solutions organization. There she developed and managed global alliances with private, public and non-profit organizations including the United Nations, DFID, DoCoMo, Vodafone, and the American India Foundation. In this capacity Cheri developed strategies for creating business value in developing-country markets through cross-sector partnerships. She negotiated and ensured compliance with international, multi-party agreements. Earlier in her career, Cheri worked in technology public relations, primarily with emerging technology companies and grass-roots health-related NGOs.

Cheri graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of California with a BA in Sociology and has worked and traveled extensively in developing countries.
