Eleni Vlachos’ specialty is project organization and management, data gathering and analysis, writing, and interactive presentation creation and delivery.

 

She has an eclectic background, with a diverse range of professional experience including managing projects for Duke Medicine’s Office of Community Relations, including perception studies, annual reporting, Durham Health Innovations (DHI) related work, and event organization and promotion; project management for Duke Global’s Global Healthcare Management Development Program (GHMDP); procedural interviews and technical writing for Duke University’s Treasury and Cash Management; legal advocacy on behalf of individuals with disabling conditions for a Seattle non-profit and attorney’s office; and Human Resources Management for private, non-profit, and public institutions, including the Seattle Community College District.

 

In her hometown of Seattle, she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a writing emphasis from the University of Washington, and PHR (Professional Human Resources) certification. She currently resides in Durham, North Carolina, where she volunteers in her Cleveland Holloway neighborhood and co-organizes the Triangle Meatless Monday campaign.
