Acumen Fund in East Africa

Aden Van Noppen is a Housing Portfolio Consultant at Acumen Fund in East Africa, a non-profit global venture fund that invests in social enterprises. Prior to this she worked on urban development and low income housing in India at micro Home Solutions (mHS), a Delhi-based start-up whose mission is to build socially inclusive cities by creating a portfolio of housing solutions for the poor. Before going to India, Aden focused on market-based approaches to poverty–she was a Portfolio Associate at Acumen Fund in New York and worked at Dalberg Global Development Advisors, an international development consulting firm. Aden holds a B.A. in International Development from Brown University.
