Manuel Bueno is a staff writer for NextBillion.net. He is currently an M.Phil candidate in Organization and Strategy at Tilburg University (Netherlands). Previously, he was employed for two years as a consultant in financial services strategy and transactions at the Deloitte office in Madrid. He has also worked at a microfinance institution in India and at Procter & Gamble. In 2005, Manuel received a B.Sc. in Economics from the London School of Economics.

Manuel has always had a keen interest in business models in developing countries. His forthcoming book, coauthored with with Profs. Juan Luis Martinez and Maria Carbonell (Instituto de Empresa Business School), about the Latin American Base of the Pyramid will be published in spring 2009.
