Activity Description: Jaipur Foot is a cheap, convenient, durable prosthetic foot for amputees. It is primarily fabricated and fitted by BMVSS, which is a non religious, not for profit NGO. It has seven centers in India and provides prosthesis fittings to 16,000 people and services another 44,000 annually by providing calipers, aids and other appliances. Apart from this, BMVSS organizes mobile camps throughout India and also abroad. So far, these camps have been organized in 19 countries in Asia and Africa. Current method of expanding the reach of Jaipur foot in India and abroad is based on camps. Doctors, administrators and artisans travel from Jaipur to the camp's site on invitation, where a temporary facility is set up.

Rebate under IT Act.

Dear Sir, Namaskar Iwould like to advise that the indication " donations are liable to rebate under section ----- of IT Act" should be indicated on the receipts, so that a doner desorious of claiming rebate could use the receipts as proof. I have been told by your Mumbai branch that such certificates are issued on request. My family had made some contributions. I enquired about the tax rebate .They told that you contact afterwards. As my son is working in a private organisation he wouild like to get tax rebate. So kindly look in to the matter and do the needfullif possible. 2. Kindly also arrang to send me It rebate certificate for the donation made to Mumbai unit. Receipt dated 17.08.2007. Donor names (I)UTKARSHRAJ ATMARAM Rs. 5000/- (II) smt.
